Go to sleep!

Dear Ronin,

It has only been about a week and a half, but I now can’t imagine our life without you.

You are a smiling, happy baby. You eat often and seem to be thriving. There has only been one real issue… You need to let your mother get some sleep!

For some reason you won’t lay on your back. When placed in your crib, you have the strength to flip over – which is scary. Even when you don’t manage to flip, you will not settle down to sleep.

On the other hand – in your mother’s arms, you turn to jelly. I have never seen someone look so content.

Unfortunately, this means that Sam is sleeping very little.

Your father,
Gabriel
