Pretty in Pink

Dear Ronin,

Several months ago, when we had your baby shower, the invitations were all marked: “no pink!”.

We knew that without this, most everyone would feel the impulse to give you 100% pink clothes and toys. Even with the request clearly stated, you did receive pink gifts – however, you also received items that were green, blue, red, yellow, purple and brown.

Last weekend, you had an opportunity to wear one of the pink outfits.

Our friends were throwing a “pink party” to celebrate the sale of their home – which happened to be that particular color.
