Dear Ronin,
In just a few days you will be a one-year-old. To celebrate, we have been working on something a bit special: your very own bicycle.
Sure, you can’t even walk yet… let alone ride a bicycle by yourself. Luckily, with this bike, you don’t have to.
For the past few months, your mother and I have been working with Jamie to build up a dutch-style cargo bike. Jamie’s beautiful bicycles are called Metrofiets. They feature a front loading cargo box with enough room for you, a friend and even some groceries. It still needs some paint, but rolls like a dream.
Helmet on and buckled in, we took you on several long rides to test it out. Up and down hills – covering about 25 miles – we all had a wonderful time. I look forward to many long rides with you.
